‘Supergirl’ First Look at DC’s Master Jailer in Lexi Alexander-Helmed Hour

CBS’ Supergirl took a small break to accommodate those pesky Grammys everyone seemed so excited about, but will unchain its iteration of DC villain Master Jailer this coming Monday. The first trailer and photos of “Truth, Justice and the American Way” have arrived, an hour helmed by Punisher: War Zone and Arrow director Lexi Alexander.

The hour will also see our first look at Italia Ricci as Siobhan Smythe, alternately known as Supergirl villain Silver Banshee, who may or may not play a part in the March Flash crossover. In the meantime, so reads CBS’ “Truth, Justice and the American Way” synopsis:

Supergirl does battle with the deadly Master Jailer (Jeff Branson), who is hunting and executing escaped Fort Rozz prisoners. Also, Cat hires a second assistant, Siobhan Smythe (Italia Ricci), who immediately tries to one-up Kara, and Kara and James disagree over the DEO’s methods.

“Truth, Justice and ther Amercian Way” will also be followed by “Solitude,” as Kara visits her famous cousin’s arctic hideaway in search of knowledge to defeat Indigo, as played by Smallville’s own Supergirl, Laura Vandervoort.
