Superhero Fan Film “Archives of the Fantastic” to Benefit Homeless

Next Saturday, while much of the comic book world is packed like sardines into a San Diego convention center, the Bagdad Theater in Portland, Oregon will be screening the 50-minute short superhero fan film, "ARCHIVES OF THE FANTASTIC: The Ninth Cosmic Convergence."

The film was created by the Alter Ego Society a local group that organizes superhero-costumed pub crawls, and differs from most fan films not only because it's being screened in a real theater, but also because it benefits p:ear, a charity that works with homeless and at-risk youth.
