Unless you're interested in decidedly mysterious meat, explosive diarrhea or ingesting toxic amounts of grease whilst drunk in the middle of the night, there is no legitimate reason to visit the neighborhood Taco Bell (nor combination Pizza Hut/Taco Bell). But comic book fans are a brave and intestinally resilient lot, and have been known to enter some dark and terrible places (like Heavy Ink) in order to obtain comics, particularly exclusive Marvel Comics. Following up on a successful 2009 initiative, the House of Ideas has produced four comic books to be given away with Taco Bell kids' meals, including new work by Colleen Coover.

Available now, the Taco Bell kids' meal -- which includes such poisonous items as "Cinnamon Twists" and a "Cheese Roll-Up" -- comes with one of four Marvel Comics starring either The Avengers, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four or the X-Men. Each book was edited by Nate Cosby and features a one-page X-Men story by Colleen Coover, creator of Gingerbread Girl. Check out a panel of Coover's story, courtesy of DC Women Kicking Ass.
