Every time we think we've seen the last of Conan O'Brien and Bruce Timm's masterful co-creation The Flaming C, the oven mitt and fishnet stocking-clad crusader seems to find his way into yet another compelling cameo on Cartoon Network's Young Justice. Following stints as a Superman stand-in, The Flaming C took on a new (and completely awesome) role as Doctor Fate in a fight against Klarion the Witch Boy and his familiar Teekl on last night's episode of Conan. O'Brien and Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited) came up with The Flaming C back in December, when Conan first realized how close his new studio was to the famous Warner Bros. Animation building. O'Brien instructed a captive Timm to design the character with loafers, fishnet stockings and garters, oven mits, a jai alai glove and "more of an ass."
