Funko recently announced a whole mess of Pop and Dorbz figures of classic X-Men characters, however, you may have noticed that one of the most popular X-Men was unusually underrepresented in that release. That's probably because he's a loner, and nobody can understand his pain. Wolverine always has his own comic (even when he's dead, somehow), always gets his own movies, and now he's getting his own announcement about his own Funko figures.

It's a good time to be an X-Men fan. It's seemed recently like Marvel's mutants were getting the short end of the merchandizing stick, in favor of a focus on the Marvel Studios movies star Avengers and attempts to make the Inhumans happen.
But now, with the upbeat ResurrXion on the horizon, that seems to be changing, and one step in that change is the introduction of a selection of classic X-Men character to Funko's line of Marvel collectibles.
Funko has released a flurry of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles product images, with the world's most fearsome fighting team (and their foes) being produced in a number of formats. Heading off the live action TMNT movie's August 8 release date will be new 2.5" tall Mystery Minis, 3.75" Pop! Vinyl figures and Wacky Wobblers based on the 1987 animated series.

Upcoming: The Teen Titans are getting the Earth One graphic novel treatment from Jeff Lemire and Terry Dodson in November.
Gaming: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game will look a little something like this on the PS3/PS4.
Over the past few years Funko's 3.75" tall Pop! Vinyl line has delivered tons of licensed characters, but fans who wanted to customize the figures had to fully paint over existing toys to achieve do-it-yourself effects. That changes March 28-30 at Emerald City Comicon 2014, with Seattle-based Funko unveiling its new line of blank DIY Pop! Vinyl figures in both a standard white color, plus a convention-exclusive green version.
Ectoplasmic entities have much to fear from the toy world this year. Not only is LEGO introducing a massive new Ghostbusters set sometime in 2014, but Funko is rolling out a full line of 3.75" Pop! Vinyl figures. This May, an initial Ghostbusters lineup of Egon Spengler, Raymond Stantz and Peter Venkman will be busting a Slimer (with a righteous translucent base), plus an extra-tall 6" Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Funko's 3.75" Pop! Vinyl line will welcome the latest movie incarnation of Marvel's Sentinel of Liberty (and company) this spring with a four-figure set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier figures. Set to arrive in March in anticipation of The First Avenger sequel's April 4 release date, the line will include fresh versions of Cap, Black Widow, and two versions of The Winter Soldier himself.
