If you thought the Uglydoll x DC Comics collaboration was going to stop at plush versions of Babo as Superman and Ice-Bat as Batman, prepare for plastic. Funko will be bringing vinyl versions of Uglydoll characters decked out in DC superhero costumes into the fold in 2014. First up? Ice-Bat as Batman, Babo as Superman and Wedgehead as Robin.
If you thought it might be fun to fold up Funko's papercraft Batman, Star Wars or Iron Man 3 sets, this January might just blow your Boxos mind. Funko has announced three new additions to its Boxos brand, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Hello Kitty.
When it comes to the holiday gift-giving season, comic book readers are notoriously difficult to shop for. I mean, most of us are down at the shop buying our favorite stuff every single week, so when the time comes for people who like us to get us something we want, well, a lot of times we already have it. That’s why we’re stepping in with a public service, bringing you comics-related items sure to make the season brighter, whether you’re browsing for a gift or just looking for something to drop hints about so that you don’t get stuck with a random assortment of back issues again.
If there's one thing that we can all agree on this holiday season, it's that your wintertime needs more Batman. Even if you think your wintertime has the maximum allowable amount of Batman in it, there can always be more -- and Funko's Batman Boxox paper craft set is a pretty nice way to add a little without spending a lot.

Maybe I've been on Tumblr too long, but considering Joss Whedon and other Marvel bigwigs' remarks about the probable lack of Loki in future Marvel movies, I think it may have been a mistake not to call Thor: The Dark World "Thor 2: Look at Tom Hiddleston While you Can, Screaming Fans." That's not a diss. I genuinely worry about how many hearts might break from a lack of fresh Loki supply following The Dark World's November 8 release. Funko's got at least a little bit of a solution, though, with its upcoming rollout of Pop! Vinyl figures based on Thor, Loki and an armored Dark Elf.
