Celebrate making it halfway through another work week with a wealth of links after the cut.
Tuesday's links are waiting for you after the cut.
Following last week's Chitauri-riffic 1/6 scale collectible figure announcements from Hot Toys, fans of The Avengers film will be pleased to see that the toymaker is finally getting to the Hulk's better half, Dr. Bruce Banner. What's more, Hot Toys is releasing a special edition combo pack that pairs Banner and the Hulk... in some markets.
Two flavors of Chitauri -- Marvel's space mummy knight-looking alien monster guys from The Avengers movie -- are on the way in 2014 from Hot Toys. Yes, 1/6th scale versions of the Chitauri Footsoldier and its boss the Chitauri Commander will arrive in the coming year, just in time to get taken down alongside their leader Loki by fans' Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Iron Man, Agent Coulson and Nick Fury figures.
In advance of the November 8 premiere of Thor: The Dark World in theaters, Hot Toys has thundered online with the promise of not one, but two Thor 1/6 scale action figures. Mixing things up a bit form the previous version released as part of HT's The Avengers movie line, these new figures feature fresh Chris Hemsworth head sculpts, a redesigned muscular body, an updated costume and revamped accessories. Thor's trusty hammer Mjolnir is in the mix, as expected, along with swappable hands. The standard version of the figure be able to slink around in a big ol' Asgardian cloak, while the sleeveless "Light Asgardian Armor Version" version will come packed with a craggy display base to stand on.
It looks like Hot Toys has crafted something of a treasure for toy collectors who dug this year's CG animated Space Pirate Captain Harlock feature. The toymaker has released new images of not only its 1/6 scale Captain Harlock packed with multiple hands, a sword, a blaster and Mr. Bird -- but also a deluxe version of the figure sitting atop the huge Throne of Arcadia.
Hot Toys is set to expand on its Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 Cosbaby lines with a second series of IM3 figures in 2014. While the first series seemed more like an IM2 expansion with figures meant to more or less fill out Tony Stark's Hall of Armors, this second wave is pretty firmly rooted in IM3 with baby-ized versions of Iron Man Mark XLII, Battle Damaged Iron Man XLII, Pepper Potts in the XLII amor, Tony Stark, Iron Patriot and War Machine Mark II.

The Batman '66 dynamic duo portrayed by Adam West and Burt Ward made their Hot Toys debut this past summer at SDCC 2013, but thanks to official promo images fans can get their best look yet at the classic crime fighters in all their 1/6 scale action figure glory. Sold separately, the 12" Batman and Robin figures each come with swappable hands, radio communicators and batarangs, plus character-specific items like shark-repellant and a giant bomb that Bats just can't seem to get rid of.
