Fantastic Five: Best Batman Team-Ups
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our years on the Internet, it’s that there’s no aspect of comics that can’t be broken down and quantified in a single definitive list, preferably in amounts of five or ten. And since there’s no more definitive authority than ComicsAlliance, we’re taking it upon ourselves to compile Top Five lists of everything you could ever want to know about comics. This week the bats are out of the belfry as we look at five of Batman’s greatest team-ups!

Hulk Might Still Be in ‘Captain America: Civil War’
Mark Ruffalo was spotted on the Captain America: Civil War set last year, but it wasn’t long after that Ruffalo and Marvel’s Kevin Feige said that Hulk had been cut from the film, which is already a bit crowded with superheroes as it is — so much so, that fans have taken to calling it Avengers 2.5. But according to one Civil War star, Ruffalo might be making an appearance after all…or not. He may have just been confused.

Earlier this week, Coca-Cola and Marvel teased a team-up during the Super Bowl by sending out mini-cans of Coke branded with different members of the Avengers. Both sides promised not to reveal the contents of the commercial until it aired during the Super Bowl. Now that it’s aired we know that the biggest and littlest Avengers — Hulk and Ant-Man — are doing battle over the last can of Coke.

‘Thor: Ragnarok’ May Let Hulk Speak
We’ve heard Hulk grunt and pant and do all the things big guys do when they’re Hulk-smashing their foes, but we’ve yet to hear the giant Avenger speak. That may change in Thor: Ragnarok, as Mark Ruffalo previously hinted that we’ll finally see Bruce Banner and the Hulk interact — something that’s already happened in the comics. Lending credence to that idea is Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, who has a few things to say regarding whether or not Hulk will have a few things to say.

Hulk’s Storyline Leading to ‘Avengers’ Finale Will Feel Like a Standalone Movie
Let’s get this out of the way first: no, a Hulk standalone/spinoff movie is never happening any time in the near future. The rights are all mucked up with Universal and Marvel and creatively it just doesn’t seem like something Marvel is willing to take the risk on right now. But. BUT! Mark Ruffalo has said that you’re about to get the next best thing to a Hulk movie in Hulk’s storyline that plays out over Thor: Ragnarok and the two-part Avengers: Infinity War finale.

Marvelous In Every Moment: A Tribute To Sal Buscema
If you're a fan of classic Marvel, Sal Buscema is most likely responsible for many of your favorite comic book memories. He was one of Marvel's most prolific and versatile artists through the '70s and '80s, working on some of the most famous sagas of the era, while also taking on a number of lesser-known (yet no less wonderful) assignments. At one time or another, he drew pretty much every major Marvel title, including Avengers, Fantastic Four, Thor, Marvel Team-Up, Sub-Mariner, Daredevil, Nova, Eternals, Marvel Two-In-One, New Mutants, Iron Man, X-Men, Marvel Spotlight, Ghost Rider, Ms. Marvel, Marvel Premiere, Howard The Duck, Master Of Kung Fu, and all three major Spider-Man series (Amazing, Spectacular, and Web Of). He pencilled defining tales of Captain America and The Defenders, and a ten-year run on Incredible Hulk. And he's also a skilled inker, whose collaborations with other artists, most notably his brother John Buscema, resulted in some of the most memorable books of the Bronze Age.

Rumor: This Is How Hulk Gets Involved With ‘Thor: Ragnarok’
We are still about a year and a half away from the release of Thor: Ragnarok, but the rumors just keep pouring in. In addition to last week’s report on Cate Blanchett’s potential villainous role, another report has surfaced, this time suggesting how Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk may enter the picture, and it sounds just crazy enough to be true.

Mark Ruffalo loves to talk about Thor: Ragnarok. He’s previously called it a “buddy picture” between his character, Bruce Banner, and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. And he’s also previously said in the wake of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Banner is “removing himself from humanity altogether” to keep society safe from the Hulk. Now he’s chatting the movie up again, this time with the folks over at Empire, where he sort of expounds on the whole “buddy picture” concept by getting even more specific about the film’s look and feel.

Mark Ruffalo previously dropped a hint about what we might see happen with Bruce Banner and the Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok — namely, that we might see them sharing the screen at some point, which could be pretty neat. The actor is out doing press following his recent Golden Globe nomination, and as expected, he’s answering even more questions about Thor and Hulk, though he always seems quite happy to do so.

Mark Ruffalo Says ‘Hulk’ Movie ‘Even Further Away’ Than Before
After the first Avengers movie, many Marvel fans voiced their excitement over a potential Hulk spinoff movie. The first two Hulk movies were mostly critical and commercial disappointments, but this was a new Hulk, one that Marvel had finally cracked. But, despite Hulk’s popularity within the Marvel Cinematic Universe being at an all-time high, Marvel currently has no plans for a standalone Hulk movie. In fact, star Mark Ruffalo says that a Hulk movie now “feels even further away” than it ever has.
