Injustice Gods Among Us
This week finally saw the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, the new game from the creators of Mortal Kombat in which DC's most popular characters (and Aquaman) wage a brutal battle for the fate of a dystopian parallel universe. Regular ComicsAlliance readers may already be aware that I've had my issues with the plot of the game, but despite that, Warner Br
From the looks of the Injustice: Gods Among Us art circling gaming sites, it appears the first DLC character reveal for the newly-released fighting game is none other than the intergalactic bounty hunting bastich Lobo. The seeming reveal follows a none-too-subtle hint by none other than Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios creative director and Mortal Kombat co-creator, l
Following an Xbox 360 avatar costume reveal and some other online clues, WB and NetherRealm have cut loose with footage of the last-to-be-revealed playable fighters, Killer Frost and Ares, pummeling each other in Injustice: Gods Among Us. Batman Beyond is even joining the game's post-apocalyptic-ish landscape via a special Batman skin. In addition, there's

Even with the April 16 release of Injustice: Gods Among Us just weeks away, there are still two playable combatants yet to be formally revealed in NetherRealm's fighting game lineup. Big as the DC Comics universe is, it seems like almost anyone could join the current cast of two dozen heroes and v
By now most fans have seen their share of Injustice: Gods Among Us clashes, but far less footage of the game's single player campaigns that go beyond mere mortal kcombat. NetherRealm's new DC fighting game will task players with all sorts of side missions under the familiar "S.T.A.R. Labs" banner, though, putting them in control of heroes, villains, and an assortment of noncombatants in the game as they flesh out the post-deadLoisatomicbombpocalypse DCU. IGN took some of the missions for a spin alongside I:GAU Senior Producer Adam Urbano, showcasing Catwoman's kitty Isis sneaking through security systems, Black Adam blasting asteroids, a potential playable Martian Manhunter tease, Aquaman convincing sharks not to eat him, and more. Though these side missions won't be a part of the game's playable demo launching on April 2 and 3 on PSN and XBL, it's still a good look at what players can expect when the full game launches on April 16. You can check it out after the cut.
