Kaiyodo Rolling Out An Iron Man Mark 42 Movie Revoltech In January

Revoltech Iron Man Mark 42
Kaiyodo

Most toy companies that licensed Iron Man 3 action figures released info about their wares in advance of the movie this past summer, but it looks like Kaiyodo has been waiting for the Blu-ray to drop before announcing its Sci-fi Revoltech Iron Man Mark 42. Standing a little taller than 6", the latest IM3 action figure offering packs 18 points of articulation - not unlike Hasbro's Marvel Legends-scale version. The imported Revoltech will pack quite a few more accessories than its domestic counterpart when it arrives on January 1 of 2014, however, coming equipped with multiple effect parts and hands.

‘Iron Man 3′ Imagined As A 16-Bit Video Game Speed Run [Video]

mcim3vid16bit

Want to watch Iron Man 3 but don't have the patience to either wait for its release on Blu-ray/DVD/digital on September 24... or sit through its 130 run time? YouTube channel Movieclips Trailers' original 16-bit video game style short could be for you (also, maybe a trip to your physician about a mild relaxant?). Zipping through the film's entire story in less than four minutes, the speed run style animation pixelates each plot point with the kind of efficiency you'd expect from a retro side scroller action game.

Check Out The ‘Iron Man 3′ Armors That Didn’t Make The Movie

im3armors1

One of the big selling points of Iron Man 3, other than Ben Kingsley's crazy and wonderful Mandarin voice, was the sheer volume of Iron Man armors that appeared in the film. There were a ton. Considering the likely weight of the armor, probably more than a ton. But not every armor designed by artist Josh Nizzi was used in the movie, and he was kind enough to share some of his unused designs, including one that I can only call the Metal Gear Solid/Metroid armor.
