Continuing Sideshow Collectibles' premium format figure line based on Mark Millar's, Dave Johnson's and Killian Plunkett's Superman: Red Son, this week the company unveiled its Red Son Wonder Woman in full. Previously teased when the line was initially announced, the Wonder Woman statue does indeed take much of its design inspiration from the previously released, "standard" DCU Wonder Woman premium format figure. Still there are enough changes to make it an exciting new piece.

Yesterday we learned that Kelly Sue DeConnick will not continue on Captain Marvel when the title returns after Secret Wars --- an unsurprising move given her creator-owned successes and her increasing involvement in movie and TV production through her Milkfed Criminal Masterminds shingle. Today we've learned who'll replace her on the next iteration of Captain Marvel; the writing team of Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, best known to Marvel fans as the showrunners on the Agent Carter TV show. They're joined by artist Kris Anka, who also worked with the writers on a tweaked costume design for the captain.

Within hours of Mad Max: Fury Road hitting theaters, Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram exploded with fan art featuring the neon wasteland desert and its high octane inhabitants. One character, though, inspired artists like no other --- Imperator Furiosa, the steely warrior of Immortan Joe's army. ComicsAlliance has compiled a collection of our favorites, including a brand-new piece by the talented Greg Ruth, and an exquisite black and white sketch by Jamie McKelvie.

Created in 1964 by Bill Everett and Stan Lee --- with substantial input from Jack Kirby and Wally Wood --- Daredevil has been brought to life on the page by an extraordinary roster of comics greats, including Gene Colan, David Mazzucchelli, Frank Miller, Alex Maleev, and, in recent years, Chris Samnee, Paolo Rivera, and Marcos Martin. The striking red suit that he's worn since his seventh appearance is one of the best costumes in comics, and creates an irresistible contrast against the grime of Hell's Kitchen. To kick off our second week of polls, we're looking at a character who has a rather unique costume history. The X-Man Storm has had several different looks over the years, and though they've often had unifying elements, they've also embraced very different styles. But does Storm have one iconic look that dominates all the others? And has she ever actually looked bad? We've picked out five of her famous looks for you to vote on.

Kris Anka is drawing a different version of Steve Rogers, the original Captain America, every day this month, and posting the results to his Tumblr at the end of each week. As we're just over halfway through the month, and as it's Presidents' Day in the U.S. of A., we thought our American readers would get a patriotic thrill from admiring Anka's daily Caps thus far. They're great sketches that offer a little taste of what a Captain America version of Spider-Verse might look like.

Everyone needs to get on board the Spider-Gwen train, because the hooded Gwen Stacy Spider-Woman was one of the most exciting new (or improved) characters of 2014, with our favorite new costume of the year, and with February's Spider-Gwen #1, by Jason Latour, Robbi Rodriguez, and Rico Renzi, she'll aim to really make her mark as the best spider-themed hero out there. OK, that's a tall order. But definitely in the top three, which places her in the top 1% of spider-heroes. Marvel has released a three-page unlettered preview of Spider-Gwen #1 showing Gwen in action, plus a look at three awesome variant covers by Adam Hughes, Skottie Young, and Kris Anka. The Hughes cover offers a glimpse of classic Gwen; Young serves up another of his fantastic baby variants; and Anka treats us to a shot of an unmakes Spider-Gwen delighting in the joy of webswinging. It's a gorgeous image that shows Gwen every bit at home on the end of a webline as Peter Parker. (She might want to put that mask back on, though. J. Jonah Jameson would kill for this picture.)
