Tamra Bonvillain is one of the hardest working people in comics. She's coloring a ton of comics: Doom Patrol, Wayward, Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, Nighthawk... the list goes on and on. If you're into comics, whether it be Marvel and DC superhero books, or creator-owned comics, you've read something colored by Bonvillain. ComicsAlliance sat down with Bonvillain at Emerald City Comicon to talk about her history in comics, her coloring style, and giving credit where credit is due.

The ResurrXion is less than a month away, and we've got a look inside the first issue of X-Men Blue, the new book about the time-displaced founding X-Men, written by Cullen Bunn with art by Jorge Molina. All the press around ResurrXion has been about taking the X-Men back to their roots as supheroes, and that's definitely going on here, with the team leaping out of a Blackbird jet to stop a robbery on board a luxury yacht. And the thief turns out to be a classic X-Men villain, to boot.

Here at Comics Alliance, as you may have noticed in the past, a lot of us love professional wrestling --- almost as much as we love comics. Ever since Valiant returned to comics in 2012, X-O Manowar has been the company's flagship title --- and for good reason. The idea of putting a visigoth from barbarian times into a suit of high-tech space armor and letting him just basically destroy everything that makes him angry with a sword made of lightning is pretty great. Now, though, the relaunched X-O is closing in on its 50th issue, and to celebrate the occasion, Valiant has hinted at a jam cover that will involve 50 artists doing 50 different takes on Aric of Dacia and his radical space armor. Today, we've got a close look at five of the artists participating: Colleen Coover, Dave Bullock, Ramon Villalobos, Michael Walsh, and Pere Perez.

If the previous few years were all about the Inhumans at Marvel, then 2016 is the year of Squadron Supreme. Next month sees the release of the third title under that umbrella in the form of Nighthawk by David Walker, Ramon Villalobos and Tamra Bonvillain. The new series sees a cross-dimensional Nighthawk faced with a serial killer that reminds him of his methods perhaps a bit too much, and we've got a preview of the first issue.

Created in 1964 by Bill Everett and Stan Lee --- with substantial input from Jack Kirby and Wally Wood --- Daredevil has been brought to life on the page by an extraordinary roster of comics greats, including Gene Colan, David Mazzucchelli, Frank Miller, Alex Maleev, and, in recent years, Chris Samnee, Paolo Rivera, and Marcos Martin. The striking red suit that he's worn since his seventh appearance is one of the best costumes in comics, and creates an irresistible contrast against the grime of Hell's Kitchen.
