So whose your favorite Star Wars droid? I don't mean C-3PO or R2-D2, or BB-8 or K-2SO. I'd even be a little disappointed if you said Chopper. Those are all fine droids, but there are so many interesting robots lurking around the edges of the Star Wars Galaxy, just waiting to be discovered and appreciated. Two of the very best are BT-1 and Triple Zero, who first appeared in Marvel's Darth Vader comic, by Kieron Gillen and Salvador Larroca.

Marvel are killing it with its licensed Star Wars title but even going back as far as the '70s, the publisher has always really excelled when it came to comics adaptations of the cinematic releases. Next month, Jody Houser, Emilio Laiso and Oscar Bazaldua bring Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to comics with an official adaptation that includes brand new story content originally cut from the finished film.

Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels has achieved a crossover success significantly higher than its animated predecessor, and their battle with the Empire is far from over. As Season 3 prepares for a climactic endgame, Lucasfilm confirms Season 4 will bow in fall 2017.

We got an early look at the upcoming slate of building sets in the Marvel, DC, and Star Wars branches of Lego's release slate, and each area left us dreaming of homes with more display shelves than the library at Alexandria. Toy Fair 2017 was home to a lot of great toys, but nothing gets the creative and collecting juices flowing quite like Lego. Especially when they have some dope Batman sets.

The Last Jedi is still 10 months away, and with Force Friday II coming in September, it's going to be a few more months until we learn everything about this year's Star Wars Black plans. However, 2017 is the 40th anniversary of the celebrated sci-fi franchise, and Hasbro isn't letting that go unnoticed.

Star Wars Rebels’ presence in Rogue One punctuated the fact that certain characters are bound to sit out the major of events of the of the original Star Wars; the first departure of which may have arrived with this weekend’s “Legacy of Mandalore.” Now, creator Dave Filoni addresses if said character will remain a regular presence, or if Rebels itself will continue through Season 4.
