‘Teen Titans GO!’ Returns With Live-Action Marionettes And Deals With The Sock-Devil In ‘Puppets Whaaaat?’ [VIDEO]

Untitled-1

A superhero sitcom inspired by the characters created and/or popularized by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, Teen Titans Go! is one of the best ever DC Comics series to come out of Warner Bros. Animation, which is saying something considering the prestigious history of that association. The series has been characterized by a virtually flawless balance of character-based superhero situation comedy and hilarious absurdism, with multiple episodes dedicated to dance parties, romantic rivalries, food-based melodrama, characters actually dying (only to be resurrected inexplicably in the next), and now, selling their souls to the Devil.

Exclusive Interview: Bruce Timm On His Return to Batman With ‘Strange Days’ [Video]

Untitled-1

Broadcasting Wednesday at 6:30pm (5:30pm CST) on Cartoon Network, Batman: Strange Days is the first all-new Dark Knight project authored principally by Bruce Timm in years and years. The latest of the DC Nation Shorts, the piece was conceived, written, storyboarded, designed and directed by Timm himself as a tribute to the original Batman comics by Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson on the occasion of the character's 75th anniversary. And as Timm told ComicsAlliance in this exclusive interview, Strange Days is the Batman story that he would create if he was "boss of the world."

Breakfast Cheese Teen Titans Go Clip
Warner Bros. Animation

Between all of their brawls -- both with criminals and each other -- the cast of Teen Titans Go! channels more than their collective share of aggression. On tonight's new "Breakfast Cheese" episode on Cartoon Network, Starfire sees how it's affecting her friends and suggests a (perhaps) better alternative. After all, what does violence solve? Furthermore, what does cheese have to do with it? Fans will be able to see if the heroine's proposed lives of peace and nonviolence stick tonight, but in the meantime, you can catch our clip from the latest episode of TTG! after the jump.

WBAQuickdraw Aaron Horvath Teen Titans Go
Warner Bros. Animation

Over the past few months, Warner Bros. Animation has been taking to Instagram to give fans a speedy look at the skills of the folks working behind the scenes on Cartoon Network shows like MAD. Producer Aaron Horvath jam on a fun Robin sketch based on the character design by Dan Hipp. The timelapse-y nature of the clip makes it easy to observe one of our favorite talents in animation at his drawing board (or, in this case, Cintiq). See Horvath in action after the cut.

The 10 Best Background Easter Eggs In ‘Teen Titans Go’

Teen Titans Go screenshot

There are a lot of things to love about Teen Titans Go, but the single best thing about it is how much there is to see in each episode. Well, no, sorry, that's a lie: The best thing about it is that there are multiple episodes that end with the characters growing old and/or dying, but right after that, it's definitely the show's signature look. Art director Dan Hipp has been a ComicsAlliance favorite for as long as ComicsAlliance has existed, and now, he's hard at work filling up the backgrounds of Teen Titans Go with some truly bizarre pieces of the DC Universe.

This week, we got what might be the single best gag of 'em all, so we're counting down our favorites from the series so far!
