Sexism Sense Tingling: Emma Stone Challenges Andrew Garfield For Dumb Remark At Spidey Press Conference [Video]

Sometimes good people say dumb things, and in those times it falls to other good people to call them out. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actors Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield seem like good people and a sweet couple -- they've been dating since 2011 -- but in a recent kids' Q&A to promote their upcoming movie, Garfield said a dumb, sexist thing. And co-star Stone coolly challenged him for it. You can watch the video right here.

German Man’s Real Life Spider-Man Web-Shooter Is A Wrist-Mounted Laser-Guided Harpoon Gun

Real-life webshooter made by Patrick Priebe

One of the coolest things about Spider-Man is unquestionably his web-shooters, the devices that allow him to swing around the city to fight crime without having to worry about all the questionable anatomy that would be brought up if he produced webs the same way as actual spiders. They're one of his trademarks, to the point where the new The Amazing Spider-Man series of films has reverted back to the idea of mechanical ones, replacing the previous movies' "organic" web-shooters, and they're the kind of thing that it would be really cool to own in real life.

And if you happen to be Patrick Priebe, you actually do. In honor of the release of Amazing Spider-Man 2, Priebe has constructed a homemade version of Spidey's webshooter that can launch fishing line out of a wrist-mounted coil and retract it, triggered by the same motion that Spidey uses in the comics. Also, there is a brass-tipped harpoon pointed directly at his palm that is launched out with a surprising amount of force. That seems like a good idea, right?

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ Trailer Gets Homemade Movies Makeover [Video]

Homemade Movies Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer

So you remember Be Kind Rewind, where Jack Black and Mos Def made homemade versions of popular movies like RoboCop, a sentence that sounds like the rantings of a madman until you remember that it's an actual movie? Well, it seems that the fine folks over at CineFix's Homemade Movies have taken a page out of that book, only they're doing it one better.

Using costumes, action figures and a whole lot of cardboard, Homemade Movies has done a pretty incredible shot-for-shot recreation of the trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ Video Game ‘Kingpin’ Trailer Introduces Tons Of Non-Film Foes [Video]

Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game trailer

The release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is just around the corner, and if there's one thing we know about that movie, it's that there are a lot of villains involved. Electro, the Rhino, the Green Goblin, some weird-ass dancing baby -- they're all showing up to give the web-slinger some problems. But is that really enough bad guys?

The producers of the video game tie-in certainly don't think so. As revealed in the latest trailer for the upcoming Activision title, Spider-Man's going to be throwing webs and flying headscissors takedowns at all those foes, plus the Black Cat, Kraven the Hunter and the Kingpin. And as an added bonus, Activision and Beenox have made the Kingpin hilariously huge. Check out the trailer below!

Movie Spider-Man Has A Dance-Off With Strange Baby Spider-Man In An Ad For Water [Video]

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Evian ad screenshot

We've known for a while that the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was going to feature Electro, the Rhino and the Green Goblin, but I think I speak for all true fans of the web-slinger when I say that we've been waiting for months for the answer to a far more important question. Sure, Spidey's going to fight super-villains, but will he also be confronted with a horrifyingly misshapen baby version of himself that he will inexplicably battle via dance-off?

Well, now we know: Yes. Yes he does. I mean, it might not happen in the movie, but it's definitely what happens in an ad for Evian bottled water, which is somehow even stranger. Watch and be mystified below.
