Straight from X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer's Twitter feed comes news that The Age of Apocalypse could be coming in 2016... or at least "an" age of Apocalypse. Hashtags make for curious reading. Gee, it's like Fox saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer drop today or something...
X-Men Days of Future Past - Page 5
In the last few months we've seen set pictures featuring Sentinels, Bolivar Trask, and X-Men young and old. And now, following it's debut at San Diego Comic Con, you can finally get your first look at the trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past, due to arrive in theaters next spring.
Coming up with costumes for live action super hero movies must already be a trip, but throw in the opportunity to whip out some '70s style threads, and I'm guessing it's a designers dream. It's not a combination that presents itself very often, but in the upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past film, you'll see just that. And with principal photography on the movie having wrapped this weekend, an image has arrived online of Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy and Hugh Jackman -- as Beast, Professor X and Wolverine, respectively -- in all their
polyester sartorial splendor.
Though he didn't have any real input in The Wolverine, writer Chris Claremont will get some say in the next movie based on one of his classic X-Men tales: Days of Future Past.
Sentinels, Smurfs and 16-Bit greatness await... after the cut.
Even though it won't be released until next year, the promotion for the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past movie has already kicked into high gear. We've seen the site showing us glimpses of Bolivar Trask, Bolivar Trask's Amazing Moustache and a few grainy images of the Sentinels, but now, we finally know exactly what those things look like.
And as someone who spends a lot of time thinking about the X-Men, I'm pretty stoked to say that they went ahead and made it a giant purple robot with a machine gun arm. All is as it should be.
Twentieth Century Fox has officially started up the hype machine for X-Men Days of Future Past. Today the studio unveiled a new Trask Industries viral website for the movie, which includes a ton of pictures of the Sentinels that will be appearing in the movie, propaganda posters, a video of a commercial touting Trask's history of protecting you and your family, as well as a first look at actor Peter Dinklage as Sentinel creator Bolivar Trask.
This weekend's X-Men: Days of Future Past panel at Comic-Con featured four actors who play two mutants: Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy, who have portrayed Professor Charles Xavier in four combined films, and Sir Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender, two actors who've starred as the mutant revolutionary Magneto. Following that, in a clever bit of advertising, 20th Century Fox has released the first two promotional posters for the upcoming X-Men: First Class sequel, with one being a split image of Stewart and McAvoy's respective Xaviers, and the other showcasing McKellen and Fassbender. You can check them both out below.
For X-Men: Days of Future Past, everything old is new again. (And maybe vice-versa.) A set of character portraits -- mostly for characters we've seen, such as Professor X, Wolverine and Magneto, one for Bishop, who's making his movie debut -- hit the comics Internet this week. They offer up a glimpse of the new costumes the movie will feature, as well as a look at the new and old versions of Wolvie. The X-Men DoFP Tumblr has also uploaded some new images of Trask Industries logo and its new Sentinel model.
