This looks like a job for Superman. Too bad he’s dead.

Warner Bros. kicked things off pretty strong during today’s Comic-Con panel in Hall H, debuting a fantastic new trailer for the Wonder Woman solo movie, followed by a special sneak peek at Zack Snyder’s Justice League. In addition to screening footage from the first installment in the two-part film series, WB premiered an official photo featuring the full superhero lineup, giving us a better idea of what these characters will look like when they’re finally united.

“In a democracy,” says Holly Hunter’s Senator Finch in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, “good is a conversation, not a unilateral decision.” The 32 minutes added to the movie’s “Ultimate Edition,” now available digitally and released on Blu-ray and DVD July 19, include a lot of unnecessary shoe leather, and fills in gaps that don’t need the extra gob of narrative spackle.

When I was a kid reading Justice League comic books, the Justice League was kind of a weird group. By the mid-90s the group had splintered into different factions, with one team headquartered in America and another in Europe, and both teams were populated by B-list players like Maxima, The Ray, Black Condor, Blue Jay, and Blue Devil. Most of the classic Justice League heroes were off on their own adventures (or dead or injured). It was a huge deal when DC relaunched the book as JLA with just iconic DC characters: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, the Flash, and Martian Manhunter. This group was colloquially referred to as “The Big Seven.”

We finally have a ton of new details about Zack Snyder’s upcoming ‘Justice League’ movie.

Some rumored titles for Zack Snyder’s Justice League recently popped up online, and a few of them sounded just a little bit silly. For a while now, the two-part superhero ensemble has been referred to as Justice League: Part One and Justice League: Part Two, though fans have wondered if Snyder and Warner Bros. might rename the two films, similar to what Marvel is planning for Avengers: Infinity War. That doesn’t appear to be the case, as DC’s Geoff Johns has revealed the actual Justice League title and…well, it’s nothing fancy.

When studios split films into multiple parts, there’s a few options for titles. They can go the simple and effective route of ‘Part One’ and ‘Part Two,’ or stylize it a bit à la Quentin Tarantino and Lars von Trier with ‘Vol. I’ and Vol. II.’ Or they can go the colon route, adding a subtitle that either works well or sounds horrible.

Jena Malone never got to make her big screen debut in the DC Cinematic Universe. Her mysterious character was cut from the theatrical version of Zack Snyder‘s ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ but now we have the very first look at her.

Jeremy Irons isn’t one of those actors that’s going to say what you want to hear…unless you didn’t particularly like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and what you want to hear is that he agrees with you. Zack Snyder’s ambitious superhero project failed to impress critics and inspired a wave of negative reviews — all of which Jeremy Irons believes the film rightfully deserved. And he was in it, so he should know.

Jesse Eisenberg’s wildly eccentric portrayal of Lex Luthor was certainly one of the more divisive elements of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but whether you loved or hated his take on the iconic Superman villain, you have to admit that the movie was never boring when he was on screen. And it looks like he’s not going anywhere anytime soon, as Eisenberg has confirmed that Lex Luthor will appear in Justice League — or at least Part One, anyway.
