As debuted after Agent Carter Season 2 finale “Hollywood Ending,” the latest look at Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Season 3 return shows plenty more Inhuman action, including Matthew Willig’s Lash (using previous footage, though his return is certainly still a possibility). We also see more of the Secret Warriors in action, as well as a new threat aligned with Ward’s new Marvel identity.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. made reasonably clear by its 2015 finale that Ward was no longer himself, recently alluding to a familiar comic name for his 2016 return. Now, S.H.I.E.L.D. producers confirm a “Hive”-y new turn for Marvel’s most treacherous Agent, along with an unsettling new photo of the transformation in progress.

Agent Carter’s second season will crash land this coming Tuesday, just one week out from the Secret Warrior-infused Season 3 return of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. We’ve already seen a few tidbits, but the gates are officially open, as Coulson meets President Ellis and the team chases Inhumans in 2016 premiere photos for “Bouncing Back.”

Uncertain though we are over Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. giving away two of its best and brightest to their Most Wanted spinoff, the continuing adventures of Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse and Nick Hunter raise additional questions with their premise. Now, the first synopsis clarifies a bit of the Most Wanted extension, potentially teasing their Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. exit as well.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spent plenty of time crafting a reveal that its enigmatic “Skye” was in fact the Daisy “Quake” Johnson of Marvel Comics, so could a similar revelation arise for Grant Ward, its other most transformed creation? Simmons herself, Elizabeth Henstridge, may accidentally have spilled the beans on a new Marvel identity for Ward, who wasn’t looking so hot in the first trailer.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has plenty of Marvel-ous surprises in store for Season 3’s 2016 return, from Secret Warriors to Inhumans, and now another familiar face has been set in stone. Or metal. Or diamond! In any case, we can exclusively reveal that Brian Patrick Wade will reprise his role as Carl “Crusher” Creel, AKA Marvel’s Absorbing Man, but is he friend or foe this time out?

It’s hard to believe Agent Carter is already approaching the end of Season 2 (and hopefully just the season), but already Coulson and the modern Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are bursting at the seams to return. Our first 2016 trailer bounces back with new additions to the Secret Warriors team, along with Ward’s creepy return and other Inhumans.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been slow-going to build a “Secret Warriors” team after the initial tease at Comic-Con, but may finally Slingshot development in its Season 3 return. Natalia Cordova-Buckley has joined the Marvel drama in the comic role of Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, a notable member of the Secret Warriors from the books.

Much as we’ve adored the first few weeks of Agent Carter Season 2, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans are eager to pick up on the 2015 cliffhanger that saw Grant Ward manifesting yet another Inhuman threat. Say no more, S.H.I.E.L.D. fans, as the first 2016 synopsis has arrived, leading the team to bounce back with a pursuit of even more super-powered Secret Warriors!

Whether the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff itself is Most Wanted, Adrianne Palicki’s Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse and Nick Blood’s Lance Hunter are one step closer to their own series. The pilot spinoff has officially added Delroy Lindo in the role of Marvel adventurer Dominic Fortune, bringing Marvel’s Most Wanted a little more into focus.
