This past summer at San Diego Comic-Con, Tamashii Nations teased S.H. Figuarts based on NetherRealm's DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us with but a sign. Now at New York Comic Con 2013, Batman has broken the silence with a blank 6" prototype demonstrating the upcoming line's precision sculpting and articulation. It's still early to tell just how posable, colorful and accessorized this line will be based on a lone unpainted Batman toy, but given the die-cast and resin construction, detailed sculpts and accessory-packed nature associated of the S.H. Figuarts line, Batman fans who're cool with his Injustice duds can probably expect a something comparable to what they've seen before from Bandai with other licenses. You can get a look at the upcoming 2014 release after the cut.

Try as most may to achieve the billowy bird hair sported by Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT stars, it's no cakewalk to train your 'do up to Saiyan -- to say nothing of Super Saiyan -- strength. Bandai Premium thinks it can help, however, with its official new Dragon Ball Z hair wax.
Following a few prototype displays at conventions such as SDCC 2013 this past summer, Bandai has rolled out official full-color images of its ever-expanding S.H. Figuarts Sailor Moon line on the Tamashi Nations site. Joining the previously-seen Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury figures are Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus and Sailor Mars.
Following figures from DC Collectibles and Mattel, it looks like NetherRealm's Injustice: Gods Among Us fighting game will be getting action figures from Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line. Not just any action figures, either, these superheroes and villains will feature diecast and composite resin construction. Sure, that's just a fancy way of saying "metal and plastic," but it's still a premium feature for fans looking to upgrade.
S.H. Figuarts figures of Dragon Ball Z's most lethal siblings have been caught chillin' among a crowd of Super Saiyan warriors at the Bluefin Distribution booth. Android 18 is apparently being planned for an unspecified future release, with her less empathetic brother Android 17 currently "for display only."
Action figure collectors following Bandai's S.H. Figuarts based on Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon will soon be able to sing along DiC's animated series theme song roll call. As revealed at the Bluefin Distribution booth at San Diego Comic-Con, Sailor Jupiter will soon join Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury. Can a Sailor Venus (or Pluto or Uranus or Neptune or Saturn or Chibi) be far behind?
Tamashii Nations Bluefin Distribution booth #3545 knows what time it is at San Diego Comic-Con, and that's Morphin time, man. Among its two glass case displays housing its recently-released and preorderable Power Rangers Bandai S.H. Figuarts toys were the newly revealed Black, Blue and Yellow Mighty Morphin/Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger ranger toys. The only bad news? They're currently all "for display only."
