Strange Company: The Marvel Mystical Fantasy Draft, Part Two
For our latest fantasy draft, in honor of Doctor Strange, our writers must compete to put together the best superhero teams made up entirely of Marvel magical characters, featuring one occultist, one demon, one vampire, one undead character, and one were-monster. In day one of the draft, Tara Marie picked Sera, Jubilee, and FrankenCastle; Steve picked Spitfire, Nico Minoru, and Robbie Reyes; Kieran picked Dracula, Elsa Bloodstone, and Captain Britain; Andrew picked Agatha Harkness, Billy Kaplan, and Cullen Bloodstone; and Elle picked Magik, Blade, and Zombie. In day two, they pick the fourth and fifth members of their teams --- and the doctors are in.

Hasbro Dr. Strange Book of Vishanti Box Set Review
This year at San Diego Comic-Con, Hasbro is finally giving Dr. Strange and many of Marvel's other magical characters their due. For as long as Hasbro has been in charge of the Legends line, fans have been clamoring for characters like Magik and Brother Voodoo to show up. While those might sound like rather non-traditional choices for a mass market toy line, the roster for Legends has grown so much over the past few years that it's actually not that surprising to see heroes like Illyana Rasputin finally rendered in action figure form. In fact, Brother Voodoo, Magik and Dormammu were characters Hasbro teased at SDCC within the last few years, but wave after wave of the Legends were released at retail with little hint of their inclusion. Finally, Hasbro unveiled the Book of Vishanti box set ahead of SDCC '15, which featured the aforementioned trio, as well as a variant of the just-released Dr. Strange and the all-new Hela. Oh, and there's this little thing in there called the Eye of Agamotto in there, too. As box sets go, it's an impressive piece of work, and one that's sure to make a lot of die-hard Marvel magic fans very happy.

Today In Comics History: A Tribute to Len Wein
Legendary writer/editor Len Wein was born on this day in 1948. Over the course of a career that began in 1968, he built a reputation as one of the most reliable and consistent creators the medium has ever seen, and he was one of the first of a generation of creators that set out to work in the comics industry instead of simply treating it as stopgap employment, making the leap from the fan press to major publishers in the late 1960s, alongside contemporaries such as Marv Wolfman and Gerry Conway. Over the course of his career he's written some of comics' best-loved storylines, created and/or developed a number of the medium's most memorable characters, and been a constant and friendly presence at conventions and fan gatherings, known for his clever plot twists, infectious smile, neatly-trimmed beard, and neatly-turned phrases.

So, it's official, Earth 616 has a new Sorcerer Supreme: Brother Voodoo, perhaps best known for... being Brother Voodoo. It makes you feel bad for Strange, who has now lost every job he's had since college. It's hard not to imagine him sitting around that giant Bleeker Street brownstone of his, wearing his sweats of levitation, eating the Triscuits of Agamatto and just getting in the way of Wong's
