If there’s one thing we’ve learned from our years on the Internet, it’s that there’s no aspect of comics that can’t be broken down and quantified in a single definitive list, preferably in amounts of five or ten. And since there’s no more definitive authority than ComicsAlliance, we’re taking it upon ourselves to compile Top Five lists of everything you could ever want to know about comics. Ah, the Halloween season. That wonderful time of the year where they let me talk about monsters around here and no one looks at me funny for having fifteen tabs about werewolves open on my laptop.

Marvel Legends’ Captain America Brings Some Friends to Fight the Iron Skull [Review]
This year has been all about Captain America over in the Marvel Legends world. That kind of thing tends to happen when you're the star of a blockbuster film that perfectly fits within the Hasbro toy line's purview. On his third wave of the year, Hasbro has turned to some unexpected characters to fill out the roster. Though some have been characters fans have been waiting to see for years, others quite curiously make the cut in a time when nobody could have seen them coming --- Toy Fair previews notwithstanding. Since this is the third Captain America line in the last 12 months, it also happens to be the weakest of the bunch. Ordinarily, a collection of characters like this might rate a little bit better, but having to follow the likes of Cap Wolf and Mockingbird or Black Panther and Nick Fury means this bunch of characters had an uphill battle from the get go.

He's the best there is at what he does, and even though Wolverine fancies himself quite a loner, he's also pretty great at doing team-ups with just about everyone under the sun.

Ahead of Captain America: Civil War's Blu-Ray release in September, The Huffington Post spoke with directors Joe and Anthony Russo to clear up some questions we all had at the end of the most recent Avengers installment. One of the final scenes of the movie is Steve Rogers putting down his shield, which made a lot of us wonder if that could mean he's symbolically giving up on his superhero alter-ego.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe, now in its eighth year, has been known to kickstart a lot of otherwise unknown actors’ careers, and give some their big break while rebooting others’ careers. While Robert Downey Jr. definitely had the biggest name at the start, it wasn’t easy for Jon Favreau to convince the Marvel execs that he was right for Tony Stark, but we’re all so glad he did. Chris Evans’ only other blockbuster credit was as the Human Torch in Fox’s Fantastic Four (2005) and its ill-fated sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), but his chiseled jawline soon landed him the title role in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger.

I’m not the only one, as the charming character designs and spot-on characterization of the students has millions of people playing. So why isn’t there an Avengers Academy comic?
