We are now officially in the midst of Marvel’s big marketing push up to the release of Ant-Man, which means more photos, TV spots, behind the scenes featurettes, et al. Marvel has just unleashed a dozen new official stills from the upcoming film, featuring our pint-sized, mega-powered hero along with a few of his friends (and enemies).

Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron is out in the world, it’s time for Marvel to buckle down and start really promoting Ant-Man. With the new superhero making his debut in just a couple of months, now’s about the time for the studio to start flooding the media with new images, TV spots and featurettes. Today brings three new images from the upcoming film, featuring the tiny versions of the titular hero and his nemesis, Yellowjacket.

It’s here. It’s finally here. The first trailer for Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’ arrived during tonight’s two-hour ‘Agent Carter’ premiere. Marvel Studios held its annual crowdpleaser panel in the vastness of Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday afternoon. The casts of Ant-Man and Avengers: Age Of Ultron were both on hand -- but there wasn't much in the way of announcements, beyond confirming a lot of things we already knew. No new movies announced. No casting news that hadn't already leaked long ago. But with those disappointments suitably girded against, here's what we learned...

Evangeline Lilly is a familiar name to sci-fi and genre fans – she broke into Hollywood's major leagues playing Kate Austen in Lost, she was the female lead in 2011's supremely fun Rocky-meets-Rock 'Em Sock 'Em flick Real Steel, and most recently, she's risen to new heights of fame for her role as elven warrior Tauriel in Peter Jackson's Hobbit films. But while she's best known for on-camera appearances, acting is merely one of facet of her creative impulse. Lilly's first authorial effort is premiering at San Diego Comic-Con this week: a creepy crawly children's picture book entitled The Squickerwonkers, that tells a story-in-verse of a terrible child and the puppet people she encounters and antagonizes. It's a quick and delightfully dark read, illustrated in at once unsettling and beautiful fashion by WETA designer Johnny Fraser-Allen – and thanks to the fine folks at Titan Books, we recently had the opportunity to speak with Lilly about the long and convoluted path that this tale has taken on the road to publication.
