Decade-By-Decade Superteam Fantasy Draft: Day Three
We're looking back at the long and weird history of superhero comics by picking our favorite heroes from each decade in our latest fantasy draft. Each team must include one character who debuted before 1950, one character that debuted in each decade from the '50s to the '90s, and one character that debuted in 2000 or beyond, plus two wildcard picks from before and after 1980, for a total team of nine characters. Our writers have each picked five characters so far. Today they pick another member of the Batfamily, a romance heroine, a handful of X-women, and one of the Green Lanterns. But which one?

In day two of the draft, Tara Marie added Pixie and Carnage to the team of Sera, Jubilee, and FrankenCastle; Steve added Dead Girl and Mephisto to the team of Spitfire, Nico Minoru, and Robbie Reyes; Kieran added Doctor Doom and Throg to the team of Dracula, Elsa Bloodstone, and Captain Britain; Andrew added Satana Hellstrom and Jericho Drumm to the team of Agatha Harkness, Billy Kaplan, and Cullen Bloodstone; and Elle added Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch to the team of Magik, Blade, and Zombie. The Queer Superteam Fantasy Draft
There was a time not so long ago when one could count off all the LGBTQ superheroes at Marvel and DC on the fingers of one hand. We’ve seen an increasing number of queer heroes make their debuts in recent years, and a few established heroes have come out as LGBTQ, but the number of queer superheroes at the Big Two in any given month is still sometimes small enough to count on one hand. To celebrate Pride, and the many LGBTQ heroes that have appeared at Marvel and DC over the years, we’ve assembled a panel of ComicsAlliance contributors to hold a fantasy draft. Our writers will take turns building up seven-member dream teams of LGBTQ superheroes from the ranks of both publishers.

To Me, My X-Men! The Comics Alliance X-Men Fantasy Draft
Who are the greatest X-Men of all time? Over the coming weeks, as we anticipate the coming of Apocalypse, we're going to try to answer that question, pairing up your votes with the opinions of our own panel of highly opinionated X-Men fans. But before we get to the votes, we wanted to introduce you to our five panelists with a game of Fantasy X-Men. Through a process of draft picking, and drawing from a roster of over 300 eligible characters, we asked each of our panelists to pick the best X-Men team they could put together --- but with the restriction that someone else might grab their favorite character first.
