A couple of months ago it was reported that Warner Bros. had offered a role in Wonder Woman to Nicole Kidman, with many speculating that the actress would be portraying Hippolyta, a major Amazonian warrior queen and the mother of Gal Gadot’s Diana. When the official lineup was revealed, Kidman’s name was missing and Robin Wright was on the roster, leading us to assume that Wright had taken Kidman’s role — not so fast, as it appears that the studio is considering a shake-up…or maybe not?

If that brief clip from earlier this week featuring the Dark Knight being unmasked by the Man of Steel didn’t do the trick for you, then you’re in luck because Warner Bros. has released a new, full trailer from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Following the premiere on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the latest preview for the epic superhero battle is now online for your viewing pleasure, featuring plenty of new footage of Bats, Supes, Wonder Woman and more.

As has been heavily rumored since last year, we know that at least part of the Wonder Woman solo film will take place during World War I, a fact supported by the first set photo of Chris Pine and co-star Said Taghmaoui, and reiterated by the latest batch of images from the set of the highly-anticipated solo superhero outing. The new photos reveal what Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince looks like in WWI-era civilian clothing and give us another look at Pine.

Alright, Batman and Superman fans, listen up. If you haven’t been watching Gotham (or if you’ve been catching up with it on your DVR), FOX has a good reason for you to tune in to the midseason finale on Monday, November 30. A new, exclusive sneak peek at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to air sometime during the episode, and to promote the special event, some of the cast members of the Batman origin series have revealed which side they’re on in the upcoming superhero super-battle.

It’s official: as evidenced last week by a set photo featuring Chris Pine, production on Wonder Woman is underway with director Patty Jenkins, and Warner Bros. has released the first official photo of Gal Gadot as the titular superhero. In addition, the studio has announced several new cast members, including Danny Huston, David Thewlis and Robin Wright.

Chris Pine has been confirmed in the role of Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in the upcoming Wonder Woman solo movie, but the set photo that appeared over the weekend featured Pine in period attire, leading to a few raised eyebrows. Rumors have consistently suggested that at least some of Wonder Woman takes place during World War I, but surely Pine isn’t appearing in only part of the film, right? A new rumor may provide an answer.

The cast for Warner Bros. and DC’s solo Wonder Woman movie already had a lot going for it with Gal Gadot in the lead role — although we’ve only seen glimpses of her in action as the iconic superhero, Gadot looks like she might steal the Batman v Superman show next spring. With Patty Jenkins behind the camera and Chris Pine co-starring, Wonder Woman has become increasingly interesting — and it might get even more interesting with the casting of Nicole Kidman as an Amazonian warrior.

We’ve known for some time that the upcoming Wonder Woman movie would take place in two time periods: modern day and World War I. But, what if that modern day time period, wasn’t exactly modern day. As it turns out, the Wonder Woman movie will actually serve as a prequel to Batman vs. Superman, taking place before the events of that movie.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice doesn’t hit theaters until next March (if you can believe it), but we’ve already been inundated with so much marketing, including teasers, trailers, featurettes, photos, et al. Rumors of the period and place setting for the Wonder Woman film have been all over the place. Since the film was first announced last year, we’ve heard that it will take place on Diana’s home of Paradise Island before moving to our world, with World War I, World War II and present day all thrown in the mix and talk of a plan for a potential trilogy. The latest rumor simplifies things a bit, but claims that the first Wonder Woman solo film will unfold across multiple periods.
