The Avengers: Age of Ultron reveals just keep coming from Hot Toys. Today, the company revealed the all-new Hawkeye sixth-scale figure, which comes with a fresh head sculpt. Too bad Jeremy Renner doesn't look too happy about it.

Bro, do you like surprises, bro? Then you'll love the just-released Hawkguy figure from Diamond's Marvel Select line. Partly because of the David Aja-inspired interpretation, but mostly because of the inclusion of Lucky aka Pizza Dog.

In his decade-plus as a comics writer and artist, Jeff Lemire has worn a lot of different hats: Indie darling, trailblazing Vertigo comics creator, DC Comics' go-to superhero writer. Now, he's found something like a middle road. He's got a superhero book with an indie flair (Hawkeye), a creator-owned book with big sci-fi ambitions (Descender) and a new Valiant Comics series unlike anything he's ever done before: Bloodshot: Reborn, which is such a vastly new take on the character that plot details are hard to come by. We talked with Lemire about his somewhat daring take on Valiant's most violent character, and also posed some questions about his varied career.

Captain America: Civil War is gearing up to head into production, and going off of what we know about the upcoming sequel, as well as a few casting announcements, this is going to be a pretty different Cap movie. GLAAD, the media monitoring group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender representation, has announced the nominees for its annual Media Awards celebrating positive LGBT representation in mainstream media, including the five comic book series that it believes provided outstanding examples of fair, inclusive, original and impactful LGBT characters in 2014. This year's awards include first-time nominations for two publishers, Image Comics and Boom Studios. DC Comics is conspicuously absent this year, despite being nominated at least once every year seemingly for as long as GLAAD has recognized comics. Archie Comics is also absent for the first time since the debut of Kevin Keller in 2010.

This weekend at New York Comic-Con, Marvel unleashed a host of announcements, revealing new series and projects galore. One of the most fascinating bits of news came out of Sunday's 'Axel-In-Charge' panel, where the Marvel editor-in-chief announced a new ongoing Hawkeye series launching in March 2015, from the creative team of Jeff Lemire and Ramón Peréz. The book follows hard on the heels of the current critically acclaimed run on the title by Matt Fraction, David Aja and Annie Wu, and while the new series will continue to focus on the characters of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, Lemire and Perez are determined to tell their own story in their own way. We spoke to the creative team to find out more.
