Jena Malone never got to make her big screen debut in the DC Cinematic Universe. Her mysterious character was cut from the theatrical version of Zack Snyder‘s ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ but now we have the very first look at her.

Last week we learned that Jena Malone’s secret role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had been cut from the theatrical release, though her scene (which is presumably brief) will be restored for the Ultimate Edition on Blu-ray and DVD. But you won’t have to wait until that version hits shelves to find out who Malone is playing in Zack Snyder’s superhero epic, since it looks like Warner Bros. has accidentally spilled the beans.

There’s long been speculation about Jena Malone’s role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it looks like we can stop guessing…for now. Warner Bros. has confirmed that Malone’s mystery character will not be featured in the theatrical release of Zack Snyder’s superhero epic, but she will appear on the R-rated Ultimate Edition, which hits DVD and Blu-ray later this year.

Even before we saw Robin’s suit covered in graffiti in the trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, there have been rumors about the character’s involvement in Zack Snyder’s upcoming film — is Jason Todd dead? Is Dick Grayson dead? Will we see Carrie Kelley?
