Jughead's After More Than Burgers In 'Jughead: The Hunger' [Preview]
Writer Frank Tieri and artist Michael Walsh want to show you Archie's pal Jughead as you've never seen him before. He's always been hungry, but in Jughead: The Hunger, he completes his evolution into a voracious werewolf who feeds on human flesh. Considering the covers to this one-shot, it's not really a spoiler to let you in on that. What's more interesting is the identity of the werewolf hunter who shows up to stop him.

Who Should Star in a 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' Movie?
It's October now, and everything's getting spookier. So this is the perfect time to imagine a movie based on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the Archie horror comic by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack. Chilling Adventures takes the characters and premise of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and recontextualizes it from silly comedy to gruesome supernatural horror.

Old-fashioned noir is getting a rebirth in comics with the arrival next month of Triggerman, a new series from Hard Case Crime in collaboration with Titan Comics. Written by Matz and Walter Hill, with art by Jef, Triggerman tells the story of a gangland killer who's released from jail for one last job, but all he wants to do is find the woman he loved.

Salem Sorcerously Speaks To Snakes In 'Sabrina' #6 [Preview]
For something that's nominally built for quck gags about lovestruck teenagers getting into magical hijinx, the world of Sabrina the Teenage Witch is a surprisingly complex one. Even before Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack started weaving in Lovecraftian horrors and witchity destinies, there was a lot of weird stuff going on. Like, you know, the fact that a mad sorcerer who attempted a bloody conquest of the world can wind up imprisoned as a wisecracking housecat. That cat is, of course, Salem Saberhagen, and while he's mostly known for being the sardonic counterpart to Sabrina Spellman, there's a lot more going on underneath the coat of fur that serves as his prison --- and in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #6, he's stepping into the spotlight (and talking to a couple of cobras while he's at it). Archie Reveals Sauvage, Lagace And Hack Variants For 'Josie'
It took the folks at Archie Comics a while to get into the whole variant covers game. If memory serves, they only did their first one within the last ten years or so, but nowadays, they're making up for lost time! With every new series that gets announced, Archie goes all-out in getting some of my favorite artists to provide variants --- and when the all-new Josie and the Pussycats #1 hits shelves in September, it's not going to be an exception. To that end, today brings us the exclusive reveals of not one, not two, but three covers for the new series, from artists Gisele Lagace, Marguerite Sauvage and Robert Hack!

Sabrina Goes On Trial In 'Chilling Adventures' #5
After one of the most promising debuts in a long time, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack's spooky Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been missing from shelves since its fourth issue came out in July of last year, one of only two issues to be released in 2015. Now, though, we are finally on the verge of its return. On May 18, Sabrina comes back with its fifth issue, and it's picking up right where it left off with Sabrina on trial for exposing witchcraft to a mortal. So really, if you've been waiting for the Archie comic that involves trial by red hot coals, multiple references to the Satanic Bible, and a Cthulhu monster being conjured up just to make a point about magical marriages, this is the one. Archie Reveals 25 Variant Covers For 'Betty And Veronica' #1
It might seem hard to believe, but there was once a time when Archie Comics was the only publisher that didn't do variant covers. If memory serves --- and I might be wrong about this --- it took until 2010 for them to do their first one ever on Jughead #200. Now, though, with the high profile relaunches that we've seen over the past year, it looks like they're making up for lost time. When Betty & Veronica #1 hits shelves on July 20, it's coming with twenty-five different covers, including covers from Colleen Coover, Bilquis Evely, Chip Zdarsky, Veronica Fish and many more. Archie Announces Return Of 'Afterlife', 'Chilling Adventures'
If you're a fan of Archie's horror titles, then you've probably noticed that they haven't been around much lately. Despite critical acclaim and a new wave of interest from readers for the story of Riverdale's favorite teens making their way through the zombie apocalypse and everyone's favorite Teenage Witch recast as the heroine of a Lovecraftian horror story, 2015 only saw three issues of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina --- and only one of Afterlife With Archie. Now, though, it seems that our national nightmare is about to return. Today, Archie released their solicitations for May, promising the return of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack's Sabrina, followed shortly by Aguirre-Sacasa and Francesco Francavilla's Afterlife With Archie, staggering back from the grave on June 1.
