A while back, Sharon Stone revealed that she has a “wee part” in an upcoming Marvel film, though she (obviously) wasn’t at liberty to discuss further details. Based on her coy wording, we just assumed she might be playing Janet Van Dyne (aka the original Wasp) in Ant-Man and the Wasp, which would reunite Stone with her Basic Instinct co-star Michael Douglas. The actress has dropped another tiny clue about her mystery Marvel role, but it’s not exactly the most helpful hint. If anything, we’re more confused now than we were before.

With the release of a new Marvel film comes an influx of Marvel news, and in addition to updates on Infinity War, Captain Marvel and that long-awaited Black Widow solo movie, we have a teensy bit of casting news. Sharon Stone says she’s signed on to appear in an upcoming MCU movie, and though she’s (obviously) not at liberty to reveal the film or her role in it, the actress’ choice of words may very well hold a clue.
