On this week’s episode, part two of a four-part crossover week across DC shows, aliens invade Central City, Flashpoint secrets get revealed, and Barry gets the gang together. “Invasion!” was directed by Dermott Downs from a script by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing.

Apart from the spectacle of uniting The Flash, Supergirl, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow under one roof, the first leg of The CW’s “Invasion!” crossover also cemented that Flash and Supergirl don’t share the same POTUS, played on the latter by Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter. They very nearly did, however, as producers explain the cameo was nixed as too confusing to viewers.

Picture it: your sitting by the fire, flipping through an old issue of Sandman, and your mother audibly sighs. "Why do you still read that junk?" You sit and think for a second. Despite the fact that approximately all of the movies coming out are based on comics, you still can't get your mom to understand why you love these funny books. Until now. This holiday season, give your mom a gift that'll teach her the love of comics.

This week, it’s Thanksgiving in National City, and there’s an alien-killing virus on the loose! Also, The Flash is (briefly) here! “Medusa” was directed by Stefan Pleszczynski from a script by Jessica Queller and Derek Simon.

Monday gave us a first taste of the four-way DC crossover, as The Flash dropped by Supergirl to recruit her against the “Invasion!”, but Kara’s work is only just begun. Producers reveal that Supergirl will again face the “Dominators” in Season 2, this time on her own Earth.

Now that all the extended trailers and sneak peeks are out in the open, we still need Supergirl to kick off the big “Invasion!” crossover this coming Monday. So it is with our first “Medusa” clip, that Thanksgiving dinner gets a very Flash-y entrance at an unexpected moment.

If you thought Supergirl palling around with the Legends of Tomorrow was the last crossover tease you’d get before next week’s “Invasion!”, you’re in for a treat. Watch the epic extended trailer for the four night event, complete with Flash, Arrow, aliens, and all manner of inexplicable crap!
