This week, we get the (weak) origin of a villain's name, the (confusing) revelation of a character's secret, and a (baffling) betrayal.

Harley Quinn Arrow

If you watched Arrow's Suicide Squad episode two weeks ago, you may have noticed the brief, very silly, silhouetted cameo of a familiar-seeming character in pigtails.

Thanks to actor Michael Rowe, who plays Deadshot on the show, fans can now know what Harley Quinn, as portrayed by actress Cassidy Alexa, looked like out in the light. That's right, folks, they put her in the makeup and everything. Check out Rowe's Instagram snap after the jump.

Former Power Ranger Rose McIver To Star In The C.W.’s ‘iZombie’ Pilot

iZombie Yellow Ranger
Toei/DC Comics

Look, I haven't cleared my TV-watching schedule to enough to catch Once Upon a Time or Masters of Sex, but if there's one thing I've watched it's the 2009 Power Rangers R.P.M. So I can say with some degree of certainty that The CW's upcoming iZombie pilot starring former R.P.M. Yellow Ranger Rose McIver could perform quite capably as Olivia “Liv” Moore (*ba-dump!) on the Rob Thomas-produced drama that sounds almost nothing like the Vertigo Comic by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred -- that is, if this show includes martial arts and mecha.

Yesterday, DC Comics gave fans their first full look at the costume lead actor Grant Gustin will be wearing in the new The Flash TV series on The CW. But the view was a little obstructed.

Today, leaked photos and an Instagram video from the set show the costume in action. We even get a chance to see Gustin running (at regular human speed, if not even slower). More importantly, we get to see him look like he's doing a kickflip sans skateboard... although Tumblr has already seen to making that Photoshop happen.

The Flash’s TV Costume Looks Built For Speed

full flash suit grant gustin the cw
Warner Bros. Television/The CW

Back in 1990 when John Wesley Shipp suited up to be a TV version of The Flash, his costume looked exactly like something out of the comic books of the time. It also looked downright impossible to run in.

The new Flash series on The CW starring Grant Gustin looks to be striking something of a balance between fealty for the look of the source material and functionality in the first image of the full suit released Tuesday by DC comics. Check out the full image after the jump.

See The Suicide Squad Lineup Set To Debut On ‘Arrow’

suicde_squad_arrow

If you're an avid Arrow viewer, then you'll remember how Amanda Waller (played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson) approached Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White) a few weeks ago and asked him to be part of her new unit (which is really "more of a squad").

Well, the makeup of that Suicide Squad has been revealed in some new photos posted to CBR. The members appear to be (from left to right): Bronze Tiger, mad bomber Shrapnel (Sean Maher), Waller, and Deadshot (Michael Rowe). Also present are A.R.G.U.S. agent Lyla Michaels/Harbinger (Audrey Marie Anderson) and, surprisingly, none other than Team Arrow member John Diggle (David Ramsey).
