Alongside an update that brings in content tied into upcoming event Monsters Unleashed, the latest new character to make their video game debut is none other than Riri Williams, AKA Ironheart who has been announced as a new playable character in Marvel: Future Fight alongside Kate Bishop and Queen Medusa.

Superhero comics have a long history of celebrity guest stars teaming up with the lead character, whether it's Jay Leno racing across town on a motorcycle with Spider-Man, or Superman taking on Muhammad Ali one-on-one. This December, Greg Pak and Luke Ross carry on this tradition as the Brooklyn Nets' Jeremy Lin makes a guest appearance in The Totally Awesome Hulk #13.

Yesterday we reported on the leaking of Marvel Comics' Marvel Previews free magazine, unveiling their entire post-Civil War II line-up including comics such as The Unstoppable Wasp, Solo, Foolkiller and Prowler. Today, the magazine has officially been released via comic stores and online, confirming even more titles and creative teams, including a Kate Bishop Hawkeye book and the much awaited Gamora solo title from Guardians of the Galaxy screenwriter Nicole Perlman.

Marvel’s reveal of its Marvel NOW line of comics set for release in the wake of Civil War II has taken the form of a steady drip of announcements over the past week and a half, but now news is flooding in, and not all from official sources. Leaked scans of this week's Marvel NOW Previews magazine revealing the publisher's line-up for October and beyond have hit the internet via sites such as Reddit and 4chan. We’ve rounded up all the information we could find to give you a sense of the new landscape of the Marvel Universe this fall.

Well now we know what those "I Quit" promo images were all about. Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Nova are quitting the Avengers, leaving the All-New All-Different team without so much of the new and different. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now know for sure that they're forming their own team along with Cyclops (the teenage version), Hulk (Amadeus Cho, that is) and Viv Vision (the daughter from Tom King's Vision book). And for once the team that splits off from the Avengers isn't called the Something Something Avengers. These young heroes are taking on a name Marvel hasn't used in decades, the Champions.

Civil War II is right around the corner, and as is tradition with a big summer event, someone is going to die. A beloved character’s upcoming demise has been one of Marvel’s big selling points for Civil War II, and speculation has been running rampant concerning which hero might bite the dust. By rifling through Marvel’s upcoming solicitations for May, June and July, it seems there are a couple of very likely candidates for Civil War II’s big death. Civil War II is just around the corner, and the news is starting to trickle in about what exactly it’s going to be, and what comics will be included in Marvel’s massive summer event. This past weekend at C2E2, Marvel unveiled a host of Civil War II news, including several brand-new miniseries, as well as announcing some of the details for crossovers that take place in regular books.

Marvel Comics will reprint the first three issues of several of its All-New, All-Different comics under the imprint Timely Comics. Debuting in June, Timely Comics presents the opening issues of these series in one oversized comic, at the reduced price of $2.99. The initiative offers readers the chance to catch up on cornerstones of the Marvel Universe like All-New, All-Different Avengers and Invincible Iron Man, but it also features collections of critical darlings such as Doctor Strange and Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, providing an easy access point for readers to try something new.

When Marvel announced its All-New, All-Different line-up at the start of July, it tried to keep a few secrets in reserve. Chief among them was the identity of the star of Greg Pak and Frank Cho's new Hulk title, Totally Awesome Hulk. It's a stategy that's worked for the publisher in the past, with the identity of the Red Hulk (Thunderbolt Ross) generating plenty of buzz; the company even repeated it without a Hulk, keeping the current Thor's alter ego under wraps for several months. But with Totally Awesome Hulk, it was a bit of a strange decision. Everywhere you looked, people only had one serious guess about his identity; Amadeus Cho. Today, Marvel announced that... everyone's a winner! You get a Hulk, and you get a Hulk, and you get a Hulk!
