The first official images of Hot Toys' upcoming Ultron Prime from Avengers: Age of Ultron has been loosed to the wild, and they don't disappoint... much. While we've been waiting patiently for a better look at the big bad behind this summer's big Marvel blockbuster, we've got to admit, it's a little bit of a bummer this high-end figure is so barebones. Unlike the previously announced Avengers that will make up this line, Ultron Prime doesn't come with much beyond a menacing presence and few lights. At least the minimal Thanos announced a short while ago comes with a massive accessory in his stone throne. All Ultron comes with is a lighted base, which is nice, but nothing to get amped up about.

With a movie the size of Avengers: Age of Ultron, we’ve been seeing a lot of promo art hit the ‘net in recent months. Obviously we’ve been a little more interested in new concepts, like Vision, Ultron, and the Hulkbuster Iron Man armor, and today brings even more promo art from Joss Whedon’s upcoming sequel, featuring all that and then some. And judging by some of this art, Ultron might just win his battle.

The latest trailer for director Joss Whedon's Avengers sequel Avengers: Age Of Ultron has arrived, offering a few new glimpses of our heroes in action as they take on James Spader's tin-pot menace Ultron -- and each other. The highlight is an extended look at Iron Man's tussle with Hulk, with Tony Stark in the Hulkbuster armor. Also on display; lots of moody pouting, and a better look at Black Widow's sensational new 'do. So cute. Super cute.

By the twelve moons of Munnopor! ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ opens in theaters in less than five months! Five months! An we’ve still only seen a couple of brief teasers and a handful of images from the movie! Why, it’s almost like Marvel wants us to actually be surprised by the movie!

DID YOU GUYS SEE THAT TRAILER? We did. We saw it more than you. We saw it until our eyes blinked. We saw the heck out of that trailer. We love comic book super movies better than anyone! Who are you dressing as for Halloween? Ultron? LOSER. We're dressing up as a destroyed city or a screaming civilian running through the street, because we GET IT and you DON'T. We paused every frame of that trailer (or there were gifs on Tumblr maybe) and now we know every hidden Easter egg, every clever surprise, every cameo that Marvel doesn't want you to see! (Unless they're hoping you'll go see the movie, in which case maybe this is all just marketing and we're playing their game? Holy cheese, I think I just stepped through the looking glass here. We've known that James Spader will star as the titular evil Tony Stark-created artificial intelligence of Avengers: Age of Ultron for months, but what we didn't know is that the evil robot's son would also be joining the fray.
