This month it all goes down. The DC Rebirth is in full effect, with nearly every single title in the catalog getting reshaped to suit the future of DC Comics' publishing plans. In an effort to revitalize the line and go back to the legacies of each and every character, the DC Universe is getting shaken up in a big way. Starting in June and running through the following months, nearly every book, character and creative team is getting a major shake-up. The DCU will never be the same again.

Courtesy of DC Comics, ComicsAlliance brings you an advance look at new periodical comic books, collected editions and graphic novels going on sale in March 2014 (and in some cases beyond) from the publisher’s New 52 superhero line, the mature readers Vertigo imprint, and the DC Entertainment brand of special projects, digital-first, all-ages and licensed titles. All of the following books can be purchased at finer comic book shops, where you can also pre-order your selections to ensure you’ll get a copy before they sell out.

Highlights for March include Black Canary and Zatanna: Bloodspell by Paul Dini and Joe Quinones; Animal Man #29 -- the series' conclusion -- by Jeff Lemire and Travel Foreman; the JSA Omnibus Vol. 1 hardcover collecting nearly 50 influential issues of the series, including much of Geoff Johns' run on the title; the Absolute All-Star Batman and Robin, The Boy Wonder hardcover by Frank Miller, Jim Lee and Scott Williams; Stieg Larsson's The Girl Who Played With Fire hardcover and also a new trade paperback of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo comic book adaptation, and Tales of the Batman: Carmine Infantino, which collects some of the classic Batman artists' most iconic work.
