If you wanted a few more origins in Batman: Arkham Origins, seven bucks will get you just that tomorrow.

The new "Initiation" DLC joins up with Bruce Wayne before he became Batman, as he travels through the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea and tries out his martial arts moves in a bamboo forest, a monastery and two other new challenge maps. It looks about as close as fans can get to playing the League of Shadows scenes from Batman Begins, even if it's storyline is more akin to Batman's comics continuity.

Batman Arkham Origins Launch Trailer

It's Christmas Eve. A bunch of assassins are out to earn a $50 million bounty on Batman's head. And boy, do they want it.

The new launch trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins spends quite a bit of time on just how much the bad guys want Batman dead, with phrases like "personal mission" and "dedicate every waking minute." It's intense. Check out the trailer after the jump.

New ‘Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate’ Screens Show Silent Takedowns, Bosses And More

Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate

It may seem like Batman: Arkham Origins and its mobile tie-in title have been getting all of the (bat)tention lately, but Warner Bros. Games Montreal hasn't forgotten about the corresponding Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate title for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. CA's own Chris Sims liked what he got to play of the game during SDCC 2013, and new screens from the title seem to corroborate what he had to say about its linear-yet-3D gameplay and combat. Batman can even be seen employing a silent takedown, zipping around a fiery environment, using his new Explosive Gel Launcher and bracing for a fight with Solomon Grundy. You know, solid Batman stuff.

Batman Arkham Origins 17 Minutes Footage
WB Games Montreal

With just a few days left to go before the October 25 release of Batman: Arkham Origins, WB Games Montreal has released a 17-minute video of gameplay, guided by Senior Producer Ben Mattes and Gameplay Director Michael McIntyre, to get players psyched.

Anyone familiar with Rocksteady Games' previous two Arkham games (they weren't involved this time) will instantly recognize the combat and the way Batman travels around the city with his grappling hook, but there are a few surprises in the video.

New ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ TV Spots Dabble In Tragedy, Comedy [Video]

Batman Arkham Origins TV Spot

Batman is a character with many facets. On the one hand, he's an orphan who witnessed his parents being gunned down in front of him, which led him to a lifelong crusade to do the impossible. On the other hand, he's a guy who beats up thugs using car doors and that's pretty funny.

These two new TV ads for WB Games Montreal's Batman: Arkham Origins (one of which, we should note, is actually a Gamestop ad) aim to capture both of those sides to the character. Check 'em out after the jump

New ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ Trailer’s Got Gordon, Alfred, Firefly And A Lot More [Video]

Batman: Arkham Origins
Batman: Arkham Origins

A new trailer for WB Games Montreal's Batman: Arkham Origins offers a reminder that the Dark Knight's got "eight assassins after head," and offers up a pretty good look at what he'll be dealing with. Big boss Black Mask, The Joker, Bane, Deathstroke, Copperhead, and the just-announced Firefly all make appearances. Not only that, but pair of cutscenes with Alfred and James Gordon (presumably before he was a commissioner... maybe lieutenant?) are featured, too.

The trailer also gives fans their first good listens to the new voices for Batman and The Joker -- Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker -- who seem to be doing their best Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill impressions. See it all in motion after the jump.

Fall Into The Batcave In ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’ With New Video Game Images

ArkhamOriginsBatcave1

Part of the hook of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City was that they put Batman in difficult environments, separate from a workable base of operations (though he did have a sort of mini-Batcave in Asylum).

It looks like WB Games Montreal's new Batman: Arkham Origins will change that up a bit. New screens show that the Batcave will be in the game, though it's not totally clear yet whether it'll be a playable environment or just available in cutscenes. Check out an early look at the Batcave and some high-kicking action after the cut.
