How do you do, fellow teens? Because you demanded it, Young Justice is returning for a third season in 2017, four years after it was canceled with major plots still unresolved. For people who are already fans of the show, it's exciting news, and here at ComicsAlliance that means that there's no better time to look back at the first two seasons and get caught up on all the action. To that end, Elle Collins (who has seen the entire show and likes it a lot) and Chris Sims (who hated the pilot episode and never went back for more) are sitting down to watch the entire series and, hopefully, get excited for its return. This week: These two Olds want to know why all these teens can't just behave themselves in the show's pilot episodes! "Independence Day" and "Fireworks" were directed by Jay Oliva and written by Greg Weisman, and originally aired on November 26, 2010.

Ten DC Teens We'd Like To See In 'Young Justice' Season 3
We've all heard by now that Young Justice is finally coming back for a third season. But we don't know anything yet about what that's going to consist of. For DC fans like myself, one of the best things about Young Justice was its expansiveness. This was a show about an ever-growing team of teen heroes, in a world full of other heroes and villains. Anyone could show up on Young Justice. It featured Mal Duncan as the Guardian, and had a subplot revolving around Zatanna, Zatara, and Doctor Fate. You never knew who from the DC Universe was going to appear next, either as a member of the team, or as a guest for an episode or two. With the show coming back, we've decided to speculate on which characters might make their debut in Young Justice's third season. Here are some DC teens we want to see added to the mix.

Young Justice is coming back for a third season. This is not a hoax. This is not a drill. This is the "Real Deal" Evander Holyfield of announcements. Take a moment. Catch your breath. It's all real, and it's happening. Young Justice. Season Three. Words we never thought we'd hear from the WB. Sure, no network or premiere date has been announced, but the hype train is officially leaving the station as Young Justice's third season is entering production right now at Warner Bros. Animation.

Over almost two years and over eighty episodes on the air, Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go has dropped its characters into a wide variety of different situations. They might go to the future, meet alternate versions of themselves, or die of old age. There are even songs. Some critics have accused the show of being too silly, so in the episode debuting today, “Let’s Get Serious,” the Titans meet some of these critics in the form of Young Justice, the teen superhero team from their own, departed, animated show --- and they’re definitely not pleased with what they see. To battle their critics, the Titans grimace really hard until they too become incredibly serious, muscled, gritty one-liner-spouting versions of themselves. We spoke to series producer Michael Jelenic about the crossover, bouncing criticisms back at detractors and pushing the show into even wider, weirder directions.
