Waking up and finding your entire home submerged in water feels like a classic nightmare scenario, but it actually happens to Donatello in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Amazing Adventures #14.

Of course, he and his three brothers live underground, so it's maybe a bit less shocking. And they're amphibious turtles, so it's considerably less deadly a scenario than it would be for most of us. But it's still a shock.

The flooding of the Turtle home turns out to be the doing of a creature called the Drip, who was accidentally created in a previous issue when mutagenic chemicals were mixed with a sports drink. Somehow this led to the creation of a little guy who looks like a Slime from Nintendo's Dragon Warrior, but with arms and legs. It's not his limbs that make the Drip vastly more dangerous than those little creeps, though; it's his ability to control all water. And if he gets out of the Turtle HQ and finds out just how much water there is on the Earth, then he's really going to be a problem.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Amazing Adventures #14 is written by Matthew K. Manning, with art by Chad Thomas. It also features a backup story by Manning and artist Jon Sommariva. Check out the preview below:
