‘The Flash’ Derides the Lightning in Painful New Season 2 Poster
The Flash hasn’t give us quite so much to chew on in its Season 2 trailers as the fourth run of Arrow, but things don’t seem to be going so well for Barry Allen in his latest poster. The Flash looks defeated in his spiffy new duds, but what could could have the fastest man alive howling in the rain?
Series star Grant Gustin previewed the first look at our new Flash Season 2 poster, a bit more notably dour than other promotional art we’d seen previously. Sure, Barry’s rocking the new white logo on his suit, but the ambient lightning, pouring rain and agonized expression might suggest some serious tragedy ahead for The Flash.
Thus far, we know of The Flash Season 2 that The Messengers alum Shantel VanSanten will guest as DC character and Barry’s new love interest Patty Spivot, joining Masters of Sex alum Teddy Sears as Golden Age speedster Jay Garrick, Tony Todd as the voice of big bad Zoom, Insurgent star Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Adam “Edge” Copeland’s Atom Smasher, Violett Beane as Jesse Quick and Demore Barnes as Firestorm villain Tokamak. We’ll also see the returns of Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold and Golden Glider (including their father), and likely others, while both Barry (and Jay!) have some spiffy new duds.
