Hot Toys Announces 1/6 Scale 'The Wolverine' Collectible Figure

On first glance, a Hot Toys 1/6 scale The Wolverine action figure may not seem as exciting (or X-citing!) as... maybe a guy in a bright yellow and blue costume? But hey, look closer! This sharp-dressed mutant bearing the likeness of actor Hugh Jackman is the best there is at coming with a bunch of clothes, tons of hands -- including bone clawed mitts and adamantium-coated claws -- plus a samurai sword. That's not just a toy thing, either. This Wolverine figure seriously comes with an "engraved metal Japanese sword." Hot Toys, you are out of control!

The figure is expected to arrive in stores and online around the second or third quarter of 2014, with a price tag of around $235.

This is just the latest 1/6 scale movie Wolverine figure from Hot Toys, following the X-Men Origins: Wolverine version in 2009 and the X-Men: The Last Stand version from earlier this year. In my opinion, this is the best Jackman likeness HT has accomplished yet.
