We've given Brendan McCarthy and Al Ewing's fantastical The Zaucer of Zilk series a fairly thorough look over the past few weeks, previewing it's initial installment and contemplating its subjectmatter with an essay by David Brothers. You might even say we've been under its spell. Originally unveiled as a standalone tale by 2000 AD and Rebellion Publishing in the UK, IDW has released a new printing of the story in two parts Stateside, the second of which, The Zaucer of Zilk #2, is out November 14. Following in the floating footsteps of its magical first issue, the concluding chapter retains the whimsy of the first, while chronicling the marked progression of the series' wand-waving protagonist. IDW's provided us with a first-look at the issue, which you can share in after the jump. From IDW's official solicitation info:

IDW's special collaboration with 2000 AD and Rebellion Publishing, The Zaucer of Zilk, concludes here in the second chapter of Brendan McCarthy & Al Ewing's phantasmagorical psychedelic extravaganza from beyond the fringes of imagination! 30 pages of brilliantly surreal artwork by McCarthy!

You can check out seven pages from The Zaucer of Zilk #2 below.
