This year, Titan Comics have been killing it with its line of licensed titles, especially when it comes in to video game tie-ins. Titan's line of Assassin's Creed comics have been going from strength to strength, and the publisher now hopes to duplicate that success with the launch of a new Dishonored comic by Gordon Rennie and Andrea Olimpieri.

The original Dishonored game was revolutionary in many ways upon release, due to its reinvention of the tried-and-tested stealth game formula. Every single mission and objective could be completed without violence or bloodshed, and the game was played the first person viewpoint through the eyes of the lead character, as opposed to the more traditional over-the-shoulder third person perspective.

Dishonored takes place in a steampunk-influenced world and stars the royal bodyguard Corvo Attano, who is forced to go into hiding and become an assassin when he is framed for the murder of the Empress he was sworn to protect. The new comic is set twelve years after the events of his game, as Corvo seeks to find an apprentice and becomes embroiled in yet another supernatural conspiracy.

The second Dishonored game is scheduled for release on November 11th and gives the player the choice between Corvo and his daughter Emily. Set fifteen years after the first game, and three years after the comic, fans of the franchise are going to want to check out the new series to bridge the gap between the two.
