Stieg Larsson's Millennium series of novels gripped the world with their shocking Scandanvian approach to crime thrillers, and helped open the doors for some of the most exciting books, TV and films of this decade to find a larger audience. Later this year, Titan Comics and Hard Case Crime are presenting Sylvain Runberg and José Homs' graphic novel adaptation of the series in English for the first time, and have provided us with an exclusive first look at The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo: Millennium #1

The European adaptations of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo were released via Editions Dupuis beginning in 2013, and ultimately collected all of Larsson's original trilogy across six tomes. This adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is different adaptation from DC Comics' release via Vertigo from 2012, by Denise Mina, Andrea Mutti and Leonardo Manco, and assumedly Titan will eventually release all six of Runberg and Homs' adaptation.

The title is a perfect fit for both Titan Comics and Hard Case Crime, the former has done an excellent job of translating and adapting some of the most interesting titles from around the world, while Hard Case's imprint has proven to be a must-watch venue for crime comics. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is on sale this June, but you can check out the preview below:
