The Top 70 Marvel Covers of All Time

As we mentioned several months ago, Marvel Comics asked readers to rate its top 70 covers of all time in honor of its 70th anniversary. They’ve been slowly releasing the results for a while, but now they’ve finally worked their way up to the top five.

The upper echelon includes some classic moments like “Spider-Man No More!” in fifth place; a smoking Greg Land cover of Jean Grey as Phoenix in fourth; the X-Men’s “Days of Future Past” in third, and the very first appearance of Spider-Man in second place. What cover took the number one spot as the best Marvel cover of all time? See for yourself.

I was a little surprised to see the Land cover rate so high, pretty as it is. Anyone else have issues with the list?
