Ever since Archie opened its updated relaunch with the news that Archie and Betty had broken up, tensions have been running high in the otherwise idyllic small town of Riverdale, and now, it seems like they're finally hitting a fever pitch. When Archie #10 hits on July 27, it's finally time... for the Riverdale Civil War.

Okay, that might sound like an overdramatic way of describing a dating conflict within a group of teens, but on the other hand, Veronica Fish's cover for this issue does feature the entire town of Riverdale erupting into flames. Maybe Archie's attempt at making popcorn in a clothes dryer is going a little more awry than we expected. Check out an unlettered preview below!

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Archie has riffed on the idea of choosing sides in a war between its most prominent teenage citizens. In 2007, a dispute between Archie and Jughead over allowance resulted in half of the kids going on strike from their household duties in a storyline called "Civil Chores," and it was amazing. This, however, seems to be a little more personal.

And here's the solicitation:
