20th Century Fox may have inked a first-look deal with Boom! Studios, but the company is clearly still in the business of adapting comics from other publishers, too.

Case in point: Fox has picked up the Image Comics series Who Is Jake Ellis? and has tapped David Yates, director of the last four Harry Potter films, to direct.

The project, based on the espionage/sci-fi series by writer Nathan Edmonson and artist Tonci Zonjic, is being shopped around to writers. The series itself follows Europe's most famous spy-for-hire, who owes his success to the titular Jake Ellis - a psychic man who only he can see. The duo's relationship gets complicated after a deal goes bad, however, sending Moore on the run.

No word yet on whether the sequel series, Where Is Jake Ellis? -- currently on its third of five issues at Image -- is part of the deal.
