Willow Makes Like Doctor Strange In Upcoming ‘Buffy’ One-Shot By Joss Whedon

As any "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fan is aware, Willow Rosenberg is no slouch in the mystic arts, using spells to aid her slayer amigos through thick and thin through seven seasons on television and the official "eighth season" in Dark Horse's line of comics. Of course, any practitioner of magic can always stand to up their game.

As mentioned by Blog@, this December "Buffy" creator Joss Whedon stops back by his fan-favorite franchise to pen a new one-shot comic, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow," that will reportedly explore the character's new abilities of flight and teleportation a.k.a. some serious Doctor Strange business.

Karl Moline is handling artwork, and seems to have actress Alyson Hannigan's likeness down pat.

Now fans just have to wait and see if she starts wearing a red cloak and acquires an amulet or two with hard-to-pronounce names. Not that she needs them.
