I grew up in the '90s, so no matter what I do with the rest of my life, I will always have a certain amount of nostalgic affection for X-Force. The hyperviolent, gun-toting mutant strike force that was originally created by Rob Liefeld back in 1991 has gone through a lot of different lineups and changes over the years, but one thing they've always had in common is that they specialize in massive amounts of destruction.

But just how is that destruction carried out? Graphic designer and artist Rogan Josh has the answer in a new poster that he made where the various rosters are broken down to show just what they can accomplish, whether it's through claws, blades, claw-blades, or just good old fashioned guns.

In a post at his blog, Josh broke down his motivations for creating the piece:

I’ve always dug X-Force. It’s kind of weird. I don’t like violent movies or guns or anything like that in reality. What is it about X-Force’s hyper-weaponized campy ultraviolence that does it for me? I guess the X-Men are often so weighed down by ethical quandries and soap-opera dramatics that it’s refreshing when a few of them branch off, strap on some shoulder pads, and just get down to the business of blowing up bad guys.

So, I thought "Why not categorize all their abilities and rate all the different team line-ups?" because, that’s what regular people with lives do, right? Not just insane, reclusive, obsessive fans who eventually lose their minds?

The poster is available now as a print on Josh's Society6 store. I'd suggest maybe not getting the "mini" version -- there's too much X-Force on this thing for 7"x10".
