With an awesome Walking Dead television series on the air and a John Carpenter Darkchylde movie on the way, it seems to be a good time to be an Image comic book. The latest of the publisher's many creator-owned titles to announce its intentions in Hollywood is Cowboy Ninja Viking, which is being developed for Disney by the writers of cult-fave Zombieland. Created by writer A.J. Liberman and artist Riley Rossmo, Cowboy Ninja Viking is one of Image's more ambitiously insane books, telling the story of rogue secret agents with multiple personality disorders and the man tasked with bringing them in, the similarly afflicted Cowboy Ninja Viking. The book is published through Jim Valentino's Shadowline imprint, and in the so-called "Golden Age Format," which is slightly larger than the standard comic book dimensions. A trade paperback of the series' first issues was released in June, and a second volume is solicited for December.

Most importantly, Cowboy Ninja Viking inspired ComicsAlliance's own guide to making your own comics mashups.
