Marvel's movie Avengers have been assembled. Following clips from both "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger," Samuel L. Jackson pulled a Nick Fury and summoned the current cast of the upcoming Joss Whedon-directed "Avengers" film during Marvel's film panel at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Joining Jackson on stage were Robert Downey Jr., Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige. New Avengers Ruffalo and Renner were officially announced as playing the Hulk and Hawkeye, respectively, as had long been rumored.

Additional characters could always be cast down the line (we're thinking there's Wasp and Ant-Man potential), but for now Marvelites seem to have plenty of heroes to choose from.
