Judging by what we've seen so far from the game, it's pretty clear that Activision/Beenox's "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions" will be unlike any Spider-Man video game ever produced -- from the different versions of the character, to the totally unique environments, to the groundbreaking gameplay. Not to mention -- no Spider Clones!

Oh, wait...

As shown on Kotaku, hot on the heels of the recently announced fourth playable character in the game -- the black Symbiote Ultimate Spider-Man -- Marvel and Activision have announced four more playable skins that will be available for download depending on where you pre-order the game (to go along with the already seen Iron and Captain Universe Spider-Men). As you can see, K-Mart shoppers will be able to take on the role of Ben Reilly (a.k.a. The Scarlet Spider), and after the jump, we've got the three other skins button mashers can download for the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man [JUMP]

For those who pre-order from Best Buy, the Negative Zone Spider-Man, which we gather will do nothing but make Spider-Man look more Metal.

And last but not least, the two other downloadable (or possibly in-game achievement based) skins will revisit Spider-Man's manga style, as well as '70s era Disco Ball Spider-Man (we kid! It's the Spider-Armor).

Activision is also quick to point out that these skins are not exclusive to wherever players buy their copy of the game, simply that the costumes will be available right from the start rather than having to actually play the game and try and get them the easy/normal/hard way.

As of press time, there's still no word on a Spider-Ham skin, unfortunately.
