Personnel changes continue at DC Entertainment this week. As reported by Bleedingcool and The Beat, SVP and Creative Director Richard Bruning, SVP of Brand Management Cheryl Rubin and SVP of Marketing and Sales Steve Rotterdam join a growing list of employees, including several prominent Vertigo editors, that have either been laid off or unable to accept job relocation offers.Over an almost 19 year career at DC (originally as an art director), Bruning was instrumental in the publication of "Watchmen," and "The Dark Knight Returns" creating DC's current logo, branding Vertigo and forming the digital Zuda imprint.

Rubin held a similarly lengthy career at the company, during which he supervised DC and MAD Magazine merchandising and overseeing DC Direct among other things.

Rotterdam joined DC in 2007 and oversaw advertising sales, custom printing and DC's direct and book-trade sales divisions.

Despite these departures, the shuttering of its Wildstorm and Zuda imprints and a number of New York City-based layoffs, DC has posted new positions for an International Sales Manager in New York and the Senior Vice President of Publicity in Burbank, which may signify some balance amid personnel shakeups.
